Simulation3DDifferential.magnetic_polarization(m=None)[source]#

Computes the total magnetic polarization \(\mu_0\mathbf{M}\).

Parameters:
m(n_param,) numpy.ndarray

The model parameters.

Returns:
mu0_mnp.ndarray

The magnetic polarization \(\mu_0 \mathbf{M}\) in nanoteslas (nT), defined on the mesh faces. The result is ordered as a concatenation of the x, y, and z face components (i.e., [Mx_faces, My_faces, Mz_faces]).
